Roof leaking right now?
Call or text us, then do these three things while you wait.
- Catch the water. Bucket under the drip, towels around it. If the ceiling bulges with water, a small hole at the low point lets it drain into the bucket instead of bringing the drywall down.
- Stay off the roof. Wet shingles and storm debris are slick. Take photos from the ground and inside the attic.
- Ask for a tarp. A roofer can cover the opening until it is repaired. Keep the receipt; insurers expect you to prevent further damage.
Power line down or a tree on the house? Call 911 first. Emergency tarp steps.

How it works
- Tell us what you are seeing. Use the form or call us. A photo from the ground helps.
- A local roofing contractor calls you back. They set a time to look at the roof. Ask the pro whether the inspection is free.
- You get the price in writing before work starts. Compare it with your adjuster's estimate or another quote. You decide.
We don't do roofing work and we don't set prices. The contractor pays us for the introduction; you pay us nothing.

Hail season in Tulsa
NOAA's Storm Events Database lists 824 hail reports in Tulsa County from 1996 to 2025, on 258 different days. That is about 8.6 hail days a year, and 4.8 with stones of 1 inch or larger.
59% of those hail days fell in April, May and June, and May is the peak month. Hail also shows up in March and in the fall, and damaging thunderstorm wind was reported on about 9 days a year.
Most hail never makes the news. A storm that drops quarter-size stones on one side of Broken Arrow can miss Jenks entirely, which is why it pays to have the roof looked at after a storm that hit your street, before a claim deadline runs out. What hail does to a roof.

Questions Tulsa homeowners ask
What does a new roof cost in Tulsa?
Published national figures put a typical roof replacement at $7,500 to $14,000, about $10,000 on average (Fixr, February 2026), and This Old House estimates $7,283 to $24,121 for a 2,000 square foot house. Your price depends on the roof's size and pitch, layers to remove, decking repairs and the shingle you choose. Get it in writing.
Will my insurance pay for hail damage?
It depends on your policy and on whether the adjuster finds storm damage. Most homeowner policies cover sudden hail and wind damage minus your deductible, and many Oklahoma policies use a separate wind and hail deductible. The Oklahoma Insurance Department says a wind and hail deductible is usually set at 1% of the dwelling amount but can be 2% to 5%.
Can a roofer pay my deductible?
No. Under 59 O.S. 1151.30, a roofer working on an insurance-paid job may not advertise or promise to pay all or part of your insurance deductible, and if one does, your insurer does not have to consider that roofer's estimate. A contractor who offers to cover or waive it is offering something Oklahoma law does not allow.
How do I check that a roofer is legitimate?
Oklahoma roofers must register every year with the Construction Industries Board, and you can look one up on the CIB roofing search at verify.cib.hbesystems.com/roofing/search. Get the contractor's registration number in writing and look it up yourself before you sign.
Who will come to my house?
An independent local roofing contractor that serves your ZIP and is registered with the Oklahoma Construction Industries Board. Tulsa Roof Crew is a referral service; we pass along your request so you don't have to sort through door hangers and cold calls.
